Three years ago, Marion Duval met Cécile Laporte, an author and activist who devotes her life to improving the lives of others. She was so moved by their encounter that she decided to stage Cécile in a candid reality-performance.

Some encounters can change lives. In 2016, Marion Duval met Cécile Laporte, an author and activist who dedicates her life to making others’ better. As an ecologist, a porn-activist, a specialist in therapeutic psychotropic drugs, a spokesperson for squatters’ rights and a defender of rights for migrant people, Cécile Laporte leads her struggles with indestructible faith and heart. Marion Duval has chosen to direct her in an inspiring and sincere reality-performance, embracing the insufferable complexity of the world with lightness.
