Gremaud and Lenoble imagine a piece entirely built on a dialogue between… two loudspeakers. The absence of human beings on the stage is obviously not an end in itself, but rather a way of questioning their disappearance through the absurd.

François Gremaud and Victor Lenoble share a serious taste for the absurd and the offbeat. Following their first fruitful collaboration, Partition(s), presented during the 2018 edition of Programme Commun, they have decided to pursue their collaboration by imagining a piece entirely constructed on a dialogue between two artists discussing the merits of the piece that is being performed in front of the audience. As the title indicates, the actors are not present on stage, but broadcasting their words over loudspeakers, like a radio play. The absence of human beings on the stage is obviously not an end in itself, but rather a way of questioning their disappearance… through the absurd.
